Real Property Tax Reform: The General Assembly “talks Big” about property tax reform, yet we still await relief. The time to act is NOW.

Job Retention and Creation: The loss of Fisher Scientific and FMC jobs was a blow to Indiana County. I will work with state leaders to bring new businesses and industry to the area, upgrade our infrastructure, train employees to meet 21^st century challenges, and to work to prevent local plant relocations and closures.

Health Care for all Pennsylvanians: Currently, 1 out of 12 Pennsylvanians have no health care coverage. We must create a health care system that provides coverage for everyone.

Downsizing the General Assembly: With 253 legislators, Pennsylvania has the largest legislature of any state. Our legislators earn an average salary of $159,000 with benefits. The General assembly even maintains a $135 million slush fund. Let’s trim the fat! I will fight to downsize the General Assembly.

A Healthier Environment: Indiana County has made too much environmental progress to be considered the dumping ground for Pennsylvania, or any other state for that matter! We need a legislator who will fight to protect our health, safety and environment by standing up against the companies that seek to pollute our air, land, and waterways.
